2009 National Night Out

The 26th Annual National Night Out in Zuccotti Park on August 4, 2009 was attended by officers of the 1st Precinct, Commanding Officer Anthony Bologna, Chief of Manhattan South Patrol Boro Raymond Diaz, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, CEO of Brookfield Properties John Zuccotti, State Senator Daniel Squadron, Downtown Alliance President Liz Berger, Councilman Alan Gerson, director of The New York City Police Museum Julie Bose, Century 21 executive Betty Cohen and 1st Precinct Community Council President Anthony Notaro.

National Night Out is an opportunity for members of the community to meet with local police and elected officials. Many local community organizations offer material on their events and programing. This year we were happy to welcome the new commander of Manhattan South Patrol Boro, Chief Raymond Diaz.
